Melissa Lane is one of the founders of the New York-based Red Door House to Home real estate development company. She leverages her skills in property evaluations, budget negotiations, and project management for the business of buying, selling and renovating real estate. Melissa participates in the day to day operations of the real estate business.
Real Estate Agent
Melissa is a licensed New York State real estate agent. She is responsible for Red Door House to Home Sales and Acquisition, in this role she helps buyers and sellers acquire or sell their home. As a real estate agent Melissa also works with rental properties, hence helping both tenants and landlords.
REHAB Property Manager
Melissa works on all of the Red Door House to Home Long Island residential property rehabilitation projects. She is the Long Island contractor liaison on rehab projects. She coordinates the contractors; the plumbers, electricians, roofers, drywallers, and painters. She works with Dorothy Farrell on managing the overall rehab checklist, the demolitions, inspections, and contract work.

Melissa has been in the real estate industry for over 10 years. Prior to opening Red Door House to Home she was an appraiser, in this role she helped to establish the value of a property through research and inspections. Her appraiser experiences and her ability to hone in on key aspects of a property have been a huge asset for our buyers, sellers, and renters. Melissa currently lives and works in Sound Beach, Long Island, New York.
